Snow Country Ski Club

Snow Country Ski Club operates two ski lodges in the NSW snow fields, providing accommodation for its members and guests.

Good morning Snow Country Ski Club Members, most of you may already be aware, that Perisher closed the ski resort yesterday afternoon due to the current weather impacts and on the remaining snow at front valley and for the safety of skiers and boarders, as such Smiggins Lodge is now closed for winter bookings.
As anyone who has attended the Perisher Ski Resort knows, there was limited snow this year, but still some good periods of skiing able to be experienced during the season, thanks yet again to the Perisher Grooming team.
A huge thanks to our Lodge Managers Gudrun and Juergen at Jindabyne and Zac and Emma at Smiggin Holes for another great winter season. Zac and Emma providing some delicious delights again and Jindabyne looking so homely.
On the Lodge news front we have had Jindabyne Lodge fitted with Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning in all unit rooms, the drying room and in the dining and games areas. This will provide significant improved heating and when required cooling in the summer and will be completed and commissioned today. This will result in energy savings, super fast warming/cooling times without the need to leave the heating/cooling on as previously was the case with the oil heaters, which will be removed.
Reminder that Summer Bookings are now open for both lodges, with booking forms now available.
Thanks again to our lodge managers, with Zac and Emma who will be back again for 2025 and Gudrun and Juergen also continuing on for the next year as well.
The Board wants to thank all members, their families and guest for your support this year.
??
Kind Regards,
